Southeast Asian Facilities – Standard Operating & Workplace Ethics Policy
Policy Reference: SEA-OPS-2026-01
Scope: All On-Site Personnel, Permanent Staff, Contractors, and Operations Facilities in Laos and Cambodia
Effective Date: Immediate
Section 1: Health, Safety & Medical Compliance
1.1 Communicable Disease Medical Clearance
To maintain operational continuity and safeguard facility personnel, The 5M LIFE GROUP enforces a strict medical screening process across all Southeast Asian operations.
Mandatory Medical Clearance: Every candidate must undergo and pass a comprehensive medical examination covering communicable diseases prior to commencing work on site.
Vaccination Status: Specific vaccine mandates are not required for facility entry. Medical clearance is evaluated strictly based on active status and overall medical results rather than immunization records.
Annual & Periodic Re-screening: On-site employees must undergo regular annual health assessments or targeted screenings during health events to maintain active operational status.
Section 2: Intellectual Property & Facility Security
2.1 Communication & Recording Device Storage
To safeguard proprietary technology, trade secrets, and ongoing operations, no personal recording or external communication equipment is permitted inside the main workspace.
Surrender of Personal Devices: All personal devices—including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, digital cameras, audio recorders, voice memos, analog capture media, and external drives—must be turned off and surrendered prior to passing the security threshold.
Locker Allocation: Every employee is assigned an individual locker in the main locker room. Devices must be secured inside the assigned locker before heading to the security checkpoint.
2.2 Security Screening & Walk-Through Scanners
Security checkpoints control access between the secured facilities and common areas.
Mandatory Scanning: All employees, contractors, and executive visitors must proceed through full body scanners and baggage screening lines upon every entry and exit.
Zero Exceptions: Scanning procedures apply to all shifts, leadership, and staff without exception. Bypassing a scanner results in immediate suspension pending an internal review.
Section 3: Facility Logistics & Parking Regulations
Parking at all regional sites is regulated to ensure emergency access, visitor accommodation, and orderly flow of traffic.
Prohibited Areas: Parking in non-designated spaces, loading docks, pedestrian walkways, or Visitor Parking is strictly prohibited for active facility staff. Infringements will result in towing at the owner's expense and disciplinary warning points.
Section 4: Workplace Ethics, Anti-Discrimination & Professional Conduct
4.1 Zero-Tolerance Substance Policy
The 5M LIFE GROUP maintains a complete zero-tolerance standard regarding alcohol, illegal drugs, and non-prescribed controlled substances.
Under the Influence: Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or unauthorized performance-altering substances is grounds for immediate termination.
Testing Protocol: Random or cause-driven drug and alcohol screenings may be conducted in compliance with local regulations.
4.2 Non-Discrimination & Equal Opportunity
We hold a commitment to an inclusive environment free from bias, harassment, and dynamic discrimination.
Anti-Racism: Racial slurs, xenophobic remarks, discriminatory hiring or assignment practices, and unconscious bias have no place in our workplace.
Anti-Handicap & Accessibility Rights: Discrimination based on physical, mental, or sensory disabilities is strictly forbidden. Reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure equitable work access.
4.3 Anti-Harassment & Sexual Misconduct Prevention
Every employee has the right to fulfill their duties without fear of intimidation, hostility, or inappropriate conduct.
Reporting Protocol: Employees can report ethics violations directly to HR or submit confidential reports using the internal integrity hotline.
Whistleblower Protection: Retaliation against any employee who files a report or assists in an investigation is treated with the same severity as the original offense and will result in employment termination.
